Jacobs' Family Pride Wellness Center of Montefiore Nyack Hospital offerings the following services:
HIV and STI Testing for Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Syphilis, HIV, Hepatitis B, and Hepatitis C. All testing services are CONFIDENTIAL. All major insurances accepted. Copays and deductibles may apply.
HIV/STI Health Education Sessions – our team members are prepared to educate on STI’s and condom use to audiences of all sizes and venues.
PrEP - PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) is a medication that can be taken to prevent someone from getting HIV. Our PrEP coordinator is ready to assist in linking persons to a PrEP.
We offer programs for people without insurance.
HIV and STI Testing
Do I need to get Tested?
CDC recommends that everyone between the ages of 13 and 64 get tested for HIV at least once in their lifetime. For people with certain risk factors, CDC recommends getting tested at least once a year.
CDC recommends testing at least once a year for syphilis, chlamydia, and gonorrhea. Those who have multiple or anonymous partners should be tested more frequently (e.g., every 3 to 6 months).
